Share Your Story

Real questions begin with real lives.
Life Questions with God is shaped by the questions people carry through grief, faith, relationships, healing, identity, suffering, purpose, doubt, and change.
Your story does not need to be dramatic, fully resolved, or perfectly written. It may be one small moment that changed how you understood God, yourself, another person, or the season you were living through.
By sharing anonymously, your experience may help someone else feel understood, ask a question they have been afraid to name, or recognize God in a place they did not expect.

What kinds of stories are we looking for?
We welcome honest, personal stories about real moments in life and faith.
Your story might explore:
-
Grief that returned when you thought you were doing better
-
A prayer that was answered differently than expected
-
A season when God felt distant
-
A moment of provision, comfort, conviction, or clarity
-
A difficult question that changed your faith
-
Forgiveness when there was no apology
-
Loneliness, depression, waiting, or rebuilding
-
A belief you began to question or examine more carefully
-
An experience that challenged how you understood God
-
A small moment that became meaningful over time
-
The strongest stories are usually specific, honest, and grounded in a real experience. They do not need to end with a clear lesson or a perfect conclusion.
Your story can remain anonymous

You may submit your story without using your real name. Before anything is considered for publication, identifying details may be removed or changed to protect you and anyone else mentioned. This may include names, locations, workplaces, dates, relationship details, and other information that could reveal someone’s identity.
Please avoid including unnecessary identifying information in your original submission.
If your story is selected, we will confirm how you would like to be credited. You may choose:
Anonymous
A first name only
A pseudonym
Another form of credit agreed upon before publication.

How your story may be edited
Stories may be edited for clarity, length, grammar, structure, tone, and anonymity.
Editing may also help focus the story on the central experience or life question. We will take care not to intentionally change the meaning of what you shared or present your personal experience as universal proof.
Some stories may also become the starting point for a broader Life Questions reflection. In those cases, the question may be explored through Scripture, logic, research, scientific theories, psychology, philosophy, history, and other relevant perspectives.
Your lived experience will remain your lived experience. Research, interpretation, and reflection will be presented separately.

Nothing will be published without your permission
Submitting a story gives Life Questions with God permission to review it. It does not automatically give permission to publish it.
If we are interested in using your story, we may contact you with questions or an edited version for review. Nothing will be published until you have given clear written permission.
You may decline publication at any point before final approval.
Submitting a story does not guarantee that it will be published.
Some submissions may not fit the current focus, may require information we cannot verify, or may be too identifying or sensitive to share responsibly.
Before you submit
Please share only experiences that you have the right to tell.
You may include other people when they are part of your experience, but please avoid unnecessary names, private information, accusations, or details that could expose or harm them.
Tell the truth as you understand and experienced it. Separate what you directly witnessed from what you believe, assumed, interpreted, or later concluded.
You do not need to make your story sound more dramatic, spiritual, or certain than it was.
Honesty matters more than a perfect ending.
